I am Zuhayr, co-founder and CEO of Siml.
I went to the University of Hong Kong, where I was a researcher at the Laboratory for Space Research, then went to MIT.
Eventually, I left school to pursue Siml. It is a prediction analysis platform, where we deploy agents to find where the attention is, and they run ads there.
There are two ways of getting human attention. Either you predict where somebody's attention will be, or you create something that brings it. So advertising and prediction are very correlated. It is a very old way of making a deal in commerce. Interestingly, getting the attention of agents will be the 2.0, and it is coming. I do believe there are great things to be done in this market.
Apart from what I do, I love history. I learned great things from this book: The Lessons of History. History for me is about patterns and lessons.
I collect artworks. Sourcing them is the fun part for me.
